We are retired Swiss Expat couple recently re-located from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Montijo; a lovely town with its close proximity to Lisbon. Like everyone else would do, prior to our re-location, we have made an extensive research to rent an apartment in locations like Cascais, Sintra, Lisbon, Oeiras and Montijo.We have selectively sent many e-mail enquiries to various renowned and reputed Real Estate firms and its agents, but was soon taken by surprise for not having received a response from majority of them. About 10 to 15 emails were not at all responded by the Real Estate Agents though we had an interest on their rental properties. Interestingly, we received a response on our second e-mail request for an apartment in Montijo, from the Real Estate Agent Mr. Pedro Canho of Century 21 Principal at Montijo, who in his email response was willing to show us the property in question.We are so glad that we have met him in person in Montijo, and a month in advance we have completed all the necessary paper works and transactions with his full support and guidance in order that we could move in this lovely home without any worries or tension. Prior to our moving, the apartment was thoroughly cleaned and fine-tuned, including a very warm welcome with a personal note and a flower pot. As a tenant, what else makes you safer and happier if you know that your agent is there even after the deal is done. We are not well-versed with the Portuguese language, and his personal help was an immense relief when it comes to visiting local water, electric, and internet service providers. To us, he is more than a Real Estate Agent instead, a person of most integrity and pleasure in doing his job by providing quality services to his clients like us. Me and my wife, with no hesitation would highly recommend Mr. Pedro Canho and his company Century 21 Principal at Montijo who have demonstrated their professionalism in providing their client related services with par excellence.
